Side Load Spinach Harvester The side load harvester is designed for higher production fresh market spinach operations. The product is collected in 4 ft. high bins that are pulled alongside the moving harvester. Productivity can exceed 10,000 lbs. of Spinach per hour. The harvester is built on a 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer vehicle with a hydrostatic transmission. The header includes a bandsaw cutter and pick-up belt which together "float" on a gauge roller. Product is delivered to the bins using a conveyor which pivots in order to fill both the inner and outer row of bins on the trailer without jumping beds.
