Here is a typical operation for a shuttle. It has just delivered more materials to the harvester and received a load of pallets with finished goods. It is getting ready to leave the field and deliver its cargo to the road trailers staged some distance away. For crops like Broccoli as shown in the photo, only high clearance vehicles can enter the field. The Broccoli shuttle has more crop clearance than the average “mudder” tractor.
